How do I run a check?
Sign up free (no card needed), then tell us the route, the date and whether you are flying or driving, and add your pet. You get the full answer straight away, and the whole thing takes a couple of minutes.
What do I need to know before I start?
Your route and travel date, whether it is a flight or a drive, and your pet's species, breed, size and age. Breed and weight are what decide most airline and accommodation answers, so a rough guess will give you a rough result.
What do the result labels mean?
Blocked means no valid path for this pet on this route. Action needed means a real requirement, like a rabies titer, is unresolved and has lead time. Requirements found means we matched the published rules. Information required means we are missing one detail about your pet. Not covered and Couldn't check are used when we don't have a reliable answer, rather than guessing at one.
Can I check more than one pet, or a driving trip?
Yes to both. Driving trips are checked along the route, not only at the destination. Readiness checks cover any number of pets, included. A generated itinerary covers up to three pets and needs Trip Pass or Pro Annual.
Do I need an account to see my results?
Yes, a free account, no card needed. It's also what lets you save results and come back to them. Building an itinerary needs Trip Pass or Pro Annual.
Where do the answers come from?
Government entry agencies, each airline's own published pet-travel pages, and municipal and provincial bylaws. Every result carries its source and the date it was last checked, so you can verify it yourself before you book.
What pets does WayFur support?
Dogs and cats. Entry requirements, airline policy and accommodation checks all run for both. Breed-specific rules are dog-heavy in practice, because that is where most published legislation is, so a cat check leans more on species, age and vaccination timing.
Which routes and airlines does WayFur cover today?
We'd rather tell you exactly what's covered than imply everything is. Each corridor is labelled by its real status: sourced, in progress, or not yet covered, never an estimate dressed up as one. The table is verified against our live data before every deploy.
